Spyglass Hill Trail is a 20 mile multi-purpose trail located along the south side of Enid Lake between Point Pleasant and Spyglass Hill. The trail offers visitors opoortunities to ride horses, walk, hike and jog. The trail is also used for educational and interpretive programs. One main feature is Ford’s Well, a point of historical significance with a few old buildings remaining. It has a class A wrangler campground with 18 campsites with amenities that cater to the equestrian camper. It’s a great trail for viewing plant and tree species as well as wildlife. It’s a good destination for a photographer to capture a late summer sunset or rock sculpture from sandstone outcrops. Parking areas, picnic shelter, gazebo, hitching rails, picnic tables, rest stops and a shower house. This is a recognized as part of the National Recreational Trail System.
