
10th Annual Oxford Blues Festival
Get ready for 3 days of fun!
We are happy to announce the 10th Annual Oxford Blues Festival will take place September 23rd-25th, 2021 around the historic Oxford Square.
Headlining the festival is Lurrie Bell, the Chicago-style blues musician with Mississippi roots.
Also performing: Jimmy “Duck” Holms, R. L. Boyce, Lightnin Malcolm, Anthony “Big A” Sherrod, Dwyane Burnside, Australia Jones Honeybee Neal, Wolfeagle, Cadillac Funk, Matt Gaylord and the D13, Memphissippi, Ghalia Volt, Kenny “Pickle” Byest, The “Great” Effie Burt, John Shaw, Jayme Todd Band and many more.
The festival kicks off with a pre-festival party on Thursday, September 23rd (tentatively) following the Thacker Mountain Radio hour.
Friday the festival starts with several Blues Food Tours around the historic Oxford Square. Satisfy your stomach and quench your thirst for knowledge. – Discover Oxford’s unique history and culture. Learn about the food and connect with Oxford’s vibrant culinary scene. All food tastings (enough for a satisfying lunch) are included in the price. (Limited Space)
Starting at 5:30pm on Friday evening, the music starts at the main stage at Harrison’s just off the Square.
Saturday the music starts again at noon and goes until 10pm at the main stage. Immediately following the festival the After Party Juke Jam starts at the La Quinta Hotel.
